POW! WOW! The First Decade: From Hawai‘i to the World showcased some of the most notable Hawai‘i-based artists, international street artists, and sculptors. The exhibit featured over 160 artists, with 30 artists creating new (temporary) murals and installations on the museum walls within the gallery and throughout Bishop Museum’s campus, and 120 new 2’x2’ paintings. The show was split into three parts that represented di erent mediums that intersect at POW! WOW!: the street scene covered in gra ti, polished large-scale murals, and canvas pieces in a gallery show. Participating artists included: Cryptik, Hueman, Tristan Eaton, Andrew Schoultz, Persue, Kevin Lyons, Amy Sol, How Nosm, Greg Mike, OG Slick, Solomon Enos, Carl Pao, Cory Taum, Woes, Hula, Wooden Wave, Defer, Shepard Fairey, Brendan Monroe, Jon Burgerman, Edwin Ushiro, Tatiana Suarez, Simone Legno of Tokidoki, and more.
